Surpassing the EU, Latin America Aim 70% Renewable Energy use by 2030.

The collective target of 70% renewable energy use by 2030 was more than double from the European Union Planed. As Colombia’s energy minister said about the renewable tender will surpassing European Union who has set renewable energy target no more than 32%.

Latin America plans to put Colombia and eight others (Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Honduras, Guatemala, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Colombia) in leadership roles ahead of the U.N. climate change summit in Chile in December.
