Accelerating the Energy Transition in Latin America.

In between June 2018 and June 2019, partners from Argentina (FARN), Brazil (Centro Clima) and Mexico (ICM) collaborated on the topic of the energy transition in Latin America. They analysed are addressing climate change trough the energy sector. The results of the analysis have been presented and discussed with stakeholders from all sectors at workshops.

The synthesis paper, entitled “Accelerating the Energy Transition in Latin America”, shares challenges and opportunities in energy transition as well as policy recommendations on how Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico could become regional and global leaders in the fight against climate change and in the adoption of a socially just energy transition.

There are about 10 recommendations that should be implemented in these challenges and opportunities. Read More from the original here..
